I am an artist, biologist and natural historian with a drawing practice focused on trees. My background in academia and education informs the interdisciplinary nature of my work. Through individual projects, collaborations and teaching, I work to promote greater appreciation and understanding of the natural world.
CAREER FROM PRESENT
Freelance artist specialising in trees. Projects include drawing historic trees in Oxford’s meadows, parks, woods and College gardens. Regular exhibitions, sales & commissions.
Artist in residence, Headington Rye Oxford. Drawing, mapping and researching significant trees on two school sites.
Natural history drawing tutor. Workshops, classes & projects with school, university and adult groups. Speaker and lecturer at academic and community events.
