PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
I am an artist based in North Lincolnshire working primarily in soft pastel. I studied BA Fine Art Practice at GIFHE, where I developed my style of capturing light through monochromatic landscape paintings. The importance of drawing underpins my practice, which is strengthened by the daily sketchbook I have kept since 2020. I have exhibited at the Mall Galleries with the Pastel Society in 2023, and at a number of local galleries, including The Ropewalk, The Usher Gallery, and Indigo Crow.
My work explores the emotional and intangible connection between humans and landscape, often through quiet, monochromatic drawings that focus on light and solitude. Through a soft, muted palette and a deep engagement with place, I hope to connect viewers to the landscape not just visually, but emotionally, offering them something secure, rooted, and profoundly human in its quietness.
